Position Overview We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our engineering team in Jordan. The successful candidate will support the planning, design coordination, supervision, and execution of civil and structural works associated with solar energy projects, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate civil and structural works for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar PV projects. Review civil engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation. Oversee site preparation, earthworks, foundations, concrete works, and structural installations. Coordinate the installation of solar mounting structures and related civil infrastructure. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, technical standards, and project requirements. Conduct site inspections and support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities. Coordinate with electrical engineers, structural engineers, project managers, contractors, and consultants. Assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQs), material estimates, and technical reports. Monitor project schedules, material usage, and construction progress. Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during site execution. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. Prepare site progress reports and maintain accurate engineering documentation. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects. Experience in solar energy projects, renewable energy infrastructure, or EPC projects is highly preferred. Good understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant technical standards. Familiarity with concrete foundations, steel structures, and construction quality control. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs. Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work on project sites and travel within Jordan as required. Good command of English and Arabic.
