Role Description The Food Server role at Dough Union is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman, Jordan. The Food Server is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Daily tasks include setting up and cleaning tables, presenting menu items, coordinating with kitchen staff, and handling payments accurately. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness in the service area, following food safety and hygiene standards, and responding to guest questions and concerns. Food Servers are expected to work as part of a team, support peak service hours, and uphold the brand’s standards of quality and hospitality. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Experience or familiarity with food & beverage and food service operations, including basic serving procedures. Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with team members. Basic cooking or food preparation understanding to communicate menu details and support kitchen when needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is preferred. Previous experience in restaurants, cafes, or similar hospitality settings is an advantage. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
