Junior Accountant – Oil & Gas Company Job Title: Junior Accountant Job Summary We are looking for an Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for an interior design/fit-out company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and experience handling project-based expenses, invoices, and financial records. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting transactions, bookkeeping, and financial records. Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices. Handle accounts payable and receivable. Maintain accurate records of project-related expenses and costs. Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts. Assist with monthly financial reports and management accounts. Monitor payments, collections, and outstanding balances. Prepare VAT-related records and coordinate for UAE VAT filing. Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reviews. Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal project teams regarding payments and invoices. Track project budgets, expenses, and profitability. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and UAE regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in interior design, fit-out, construction, or contracting. Good understanding of UAE VAT and accounting practices. Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar. Strong knowledge of MS Excel. Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Experience handling project costing and job-wise accounting. Experience with construction/interior design material purchases and supplier accounts.
