This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for pharmaceutical products and related services, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation. The Procurement Manager will oversee vendor relationships, ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, and optimize costs while maintaining quality and reliability of supply. Daily tasks include analyzing procurement data, preparing reports, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as finance, operations, and quality assurance, and managing contract lifecycles and renewals. The role also involves monitoring market trends, identifying risks in the supply chain, and implementing strategies to improve procurement efficiency and support business objectives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, with experience in sourcing pharmaceutical products and services. Candidates should possess contract negotiation and contract management skills to secure favorable terms and maintain compliant, sustainable vendor agreements. Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret procurement data, assess supplier performance, and support data-driven decision-making. Candidates should possess knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in supply chain management. Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, pharmacy, or a related field; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage. Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing management role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
