Freelance Project Director – Events

ALSAYEGH WORLDWIDE is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the planning and delivery of a prestigious, multi-day conference in Abu Dhabi, attended by senior international delegates. The role carries end-to-end responsibility for the project, from planning and coordination through to onsite execution and close-out. Key Responsibilities Lead overall project planning, management and delivery. Own project timelines, budgets, deliverables and resource allocation. Manage client coordination, reporting and approvals. Oversee creative, production, technical and operational workstreams. Manage suppliers, procurement, logistics and venue coordination. Oversee conference operations, protocol, delegate services and associated hospitality functions. Direct onsite teams, rehearsals, event execution and final handover. Maintain oversight of quality, risks and commercial performance throughout the project. Requirements Proven experience directing high-profile conferences, official events or similar multi-day programmes. Demonstrated end-to-end project leadership, including budget, supplier and production management. Strong understanding of event production, technical operations and protocol requirements. Relevant experience delivering events in the UAE. Availability for immediate engagement.
