Role Description The Captain Waiter role at SCI HAYAT REGENCY is a full-time, on-site position based in the Doha Metropolitan Area. The Captain Waiter oversees the service team, coordinates table assignments, and ensures guests receive timely, courteous, and accurate food and beverage service. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and confirming orders, supervising food delivery, checking presentation and quality, and addressing guest requests or concerns. The role involves close collaboration with kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the dining area, and supporting training and guidance of junior service staff. The Captain Waiter is expected to uphold hospitality standards, follow safety and hygiene procedures, and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Candidates should possess Food & Beverage and Food Service skills to manage orders, service flow, and product knowledge. Candidates should possess basic Cooking awareness and food handling knowledge to coordinate smoothly with kitchen operations. Candidates should possess skills in team leadership, staff coordination, and conflict resolution to guide service staff. Candidates should possess attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to maintain service standards. Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment as a captain waiter or senior server is highly beneficial. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, is preferred.
