# Hiring: Senior ELV Technician 📍 Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE) 💼 Experience: 6–8+ Years 🎓 Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related field ### Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior ELV Technician with strong hands-on expertise in CCTV, access control, and integrated ELV systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems while ensuring compliance with applicable UAE regulations and project standards. The candidate should also be capable of supervising site technicians, coordinating site activities, and ensuring timely completion of work in line with quality and service-level requirements. ### Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, test, and commission IP CCTV systems, including cameras, NVRs, VMS, storage systems, and video analytics. - Install, program, and integrate access control systems, including controllers, card readers, biometric devices, electronic locks, turnstiles, speed gates, and barriers. - Configure cardholders, access levels, schedules, alarms, and event logs. - Integrate CCTV, access control, intercom, visitor management, and gate barrier systems. - Perform basic network configuration, including IP addressing, VLANs, PoE switches, structured cabling, patching, and labeling. - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and resolve technical issues within agreed SLAs. - Supervise and guide junior technicians and subcontractors at project sites. - Ensure compliance with safety procedures, installation standards, and quality requirements. - Support site surveys, snagging activities, as-built drawings, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation. - Coordinate inspections and regulatory compliance requirements, including ADMCC and SIRA, where applicable. - Provide basic system operation training to end users during handover. - Prepare daily service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation. - Support shift duties, after-hours work, and emergency service requirements when necessary. ### Requirements - Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent qualification. - Minimum 6–8 years of relevant ELV experience, including at least 3 years of experience in the UAE. - Strong hands-on experience with IP CCTV and enterprise access control systems. - Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, PoE, structured cabling, Cat6, fiber optics, and cable termination. - Understanding of ADMCC requirements in Abu Dhabi and SIRA regulations in Dubai, where applicable. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. - Valid UAE driving license. - Good English communication skills, with strong reporting and documentation abilities. - Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and supervise site teams effectively. ### Preferred Skills & Additional Advantages - Experience with Lenel OnGuard installation, configuration, and administration. - Familiarity with Hanwha Vision / Wisenet cameras, NVRs, and SSM/WAVE VMS. - Knowledge of AV systems, including meeting room solutions, PA/BGM, video walls, and control-room displays. - ADMCC or SIRA certification, as applicable. - Experience with platforms such as Genetec, Milestone, Axis, Suprema/BioStar, or Honeywell. - Previous experience working on government, critical-infrastructure, or high-security projects. - Existing site access permits or security clearance would be an advantage. ### Key Competencies - Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Effective site leadership and team coordination. - High standards of safety, quality, and technical documentation. - Customer-focused approach with a strong sense of urgency. - Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. 📩 Interested candidates: Apply through LinkedIn or share your updated CV for consideration.
