Job Description – Bus Driver Position Title: Bus Driver Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and experienced Bus Driver to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License and have a strong knowledge of Dubai roads, routes, traffic regulations, and major landmarks. The Bus Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of passengers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Key Responsibilities Safely transport passengers to designated destinations according to assigned schedules and routes. Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip. Monitor the condition of the bus and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements. Maintain cleanliness and proper appearance of the vehicle. Ensure passenger safety during boarding, travel, and disembarkation. Follow planned routes while effectively managing traffic delays and alternative roads when necessary. Maintain accurate trip records, vehicle logs, and incident reports. Provide courteous and professional service to passengers at all times. Immediately report accidents, incidents, or emergencies to management. Requirements Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving License (Mandatory). Minimum 2 years of bus driving experience in the UAE. Good knowledge of Dubai roads, highways, landmarks, and traffic regulations. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations. Ability to communicate in basic English. Physically fit and capable of working flexible shifts. Strong understanding of road safety practices and defensive driving techniques. Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and conduct. Preferred Qualifications Experience in staff transportation, school transportation, or passenger transport services. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning. Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures. Skills & Competencies Safe and defensive driving skills. Excellent route and location knowledge within Dubai. Time management and punctuality. Customer service orientation. Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness. Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.
