Barista (SA)

Job Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light refreshments while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional environment for TEC members and guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards. Deliver friendly, professional, and prompt service to members, visitors, and guests. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, pantry, equipment, and service areas. Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor. Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food and beverage items. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards. Assist with meeting room refreshments, events, and other hospitality requirements as needed. Requirements Previous experience as a Barista or in a hospitality role is preferred. Good communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and beverage preparation standards. Show more Show less
