About the jobThis role is essentially a Population Health Physician or Clinical Data Analyst Physician position. Although you are a medical doctor, you won't be providing direct patient care, seeing patients in a clinic, or performing procedures. Instead, you'll use Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and healthcare data to improve the health outcomes of nursing home residents in the United States. Responsibilities Review Medical Records and EMR Data. You'll analyze patients' medical histories Identify Care Gaps (Examples: Diabetic patient missing annual eye examination, hypertensive patient with uncontrolled blood pressure and no recent follow-up, patient eligible for flu or pneumonia vaccination but hasn't received it, patient discharged from the hospital without proper follow-up.. etc). Create Personalized Care Plans Collaborate with Healthcare Teams Document medical information, prescriptions, and records into our platforms You will be assigned to clinics, and you will have access to their electronic system You will be assigned to prescription diagnosis, treatment plans, and medications. You will update profiles for patients and update their medical history. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in medicine or pharmacy is a must. English level of minimum B2 is a must.
