Accounting Manager

Role Description: The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic financial decisions through accurate reporting, internal controls, and team leadership. The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting team, manage financial operations, and collaborate closely with the finance department to drive organizational growth and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily accounting functions including ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries. • Manage financial operations such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and coordinate with external auditors. • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity. • Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and accuracy. • Collaborate with finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. • Provide accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. • Monitor treasury and bank movements; ensure daily reconciliation of balances. • Prepare cash flow reports and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. • Organize and prepare documentation for internal and external audits. • Manage and optimize the Accounting ERP system. • Monitor credit card transactions and loan status. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
