Job Summary: We are seeking a Tax & Tax Audit Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in taxation and tax audit procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing tax returns, maintaining tax files, assisting with tax inspections, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations. Handle VAT, Payroll Tax, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax filings. Prepare and maintain tax documentation, supporting schedules, and tax files. Assist in tax inspections and audits, including preparing audit files and responding to tax authority inquiries. Communicate with the Egyptian Tax Authority regarding client tax matters. Review financial records and supporting documents to ensure tax compliance. Stay updated on changes in Egyptian tax legislation and regulations. Assist in resolving tax discrepancies, assessments, and other tax-related issues. Ensure proper use of electronic tax systems and portals. Maintain accurate and organized tax records for clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in taxation and tax audit, within an accounting office or firm. Good knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations. Practical experience with tax returns, tax inspections, and tax documentation. Familiarity with electronic tax systems and portals. Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Show more Show less
