This position acts as the primary platform custodian, negotiating Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and trade marketing investments while simultaneously managing node-level supply chain execution, dark store expansions, and digital shelf health to eliminate operational leakage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Leadership & Relationship Management
Account JBPs : Lead top-to-top platform relationships for assigned accounts.
Negotiate monthly activation plans.
Growth & Expansion : Spearhead the commercial rollout for aggressive dark store expansions (20 to 50 new locations per platform), ensuring Day-1 visibility and optimal inventory allocation for key categories (Fresh, F&V, Ice Cream, and Private Label).
Retail Media & Promotions : Manage platform-specific advertising campaigns (Ads & sponsored listings) and track Promotional ROI to ensure trade investments translate into profitable net contribution.
Assortment & Basket Engineering: Design and implement virtual bundles, platform-exclusive multi-packs, and cross-category recommendations to drive a growth in Average Order Value (AOV).
2. Operational Excellence & Execution
Command Center Management: Utilize the Sead Platform and Power BI dashboards daily to execute automated exception reporting, flagging critical Out-of-Stocks (OOS), low fill rates, and late deliveries.
Node-Level Forecasting :Drive 90% SKU/store forecasting accuracy by analyzing sales history, weekday patterns, and seasonal demand to align inventory with localized dark store consumption.
Leakage Prevention : Trace daily OOS items to their root causes and quantify lost sales from short deliveries against received orders.
SLA Enforcement : Enforce strict service-level agreements with internal supply chain and platform logistics to achieve 95% on-time delivery and reduce store receiving times.
3. Digital Merchandising & Digital Shelf Health
Assortment Architecture : Define and map the Core vs. Non-Core assortment based on individual store demand and specific shopper profiles.
Catalogue Completeness : Guarantee 100% platform catalogue accuracy.
Ensure every assigned active SKU has the correct barcode, price, mobile-ready image, and search-optimized content.
NPD Launches : Track the 30/60/90-day performance productivity of all New Product Development (NPD) launches across assigned platforms and store locations.
Primary KPIs & Success Metrics
Growth :Achieve a agreed increase in sales per active store and growth in Average Order Value (AOV).
Availability : Maintain strict 95% availability for the Core Assortment and 85% for Non-Core SKUs.
OOS Rate: Cap the maximum agreed OOS rate for Core Assortment.
Service Levels : Achieve a 95% on-time delivery rate and agreed delivery rejection rate.
Waste/Returns : Maintain agreed Goods Return Voucher (GRV) / Return rate through improved forecasting and shelf-life management.
Qualifications
3–5 years of hybrid experience in Key Account Management and E-commerce Supply Chain/Operations within the FMCG or grocery sector.
Direct experience scaling brands on Q-commerce platforms (Talabat, Amazon, noon, Careem) and managing multi-node dark store logistics.
Strong analytical proficiency; highly comfortable using Power BI, automated exception reporting tools, and predictive forecasting models.
Proven track record of managing perishable goods (F&V, Fresh) with an understanding of short-shelf-life supply chain dynamics.
