QA/QC Manager Project: Rehabilitation of Irrigation Networks for Ghor Al-Safi / Jordan Valley Overview Hussein Atieh & Sons Co. HAE is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager for the Rehabilitation of Irrigation Networks for Ghor Al-Safi / Jordan Valley project. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years as a QA/QC Manager on water supply, wastewater, irrigation, or Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) projects. Proven experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) for infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material inspections, testing, and quality documentation. Familiarity with project specifications, international standards, and contract requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills. Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken). Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the Contract requirements. Ensure compliance with technical specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and QA/QC procedures. Prepare, review, and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, method statements, and quality records. Coordinate and supervise all material inspections and laboratory testing, including soil compaction, bedding and backfilling, concrete compressive strength, asphalt testing, aggregate testing, pipe testing, and other field and laboratory quality tests required by the Contract. Verify that all construction materials comply with the approved material submittals, project specifications, and relevant international standards. Monitor site construction activities to ensure quality compliance and initiate corrective and preventive actions where required. Coordinate inspections and testing with the Employer, Engineer, approved laboratories, and subcontractors. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, quality audits, and quality documentation. Prepare and submit quality reports and ensure complete QA/QC records are maintained for testing, commissioning, and project handover. Show more Show less
