Junior Security Engineer

For the first year the focus is incident response. You’ll triage and investigate alerts across our group companies, handle containment, and write up what actually happened. Real incidents, real systems, with a senior team supporting you. Alongside that, we’ll train you on GRC. The plan is that within twelve months you can take on the Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer responsibilities as well — policy, risk register, audit readiness, compliance reporting. It’s a two-track role by design. If you want to build both the technical and the governance side of security early in your career, this is a good place to do it. What I’m looking for: 1–3 years in IT or security, or a strong graduate who knows the fundamentals Real curiosity about how attacks work, not just how the tools look Clear written English. A large part of security is explaining things to people outside security. Security+, SC-200 or similar is a plus, not a requirement GRC / COBIT experience is plus.
