Accountant – Immediate Joiners only

The Role We’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. You’ll handle day-to-day accounting and financial operations, keep records accurate, and help us report on time and stay compliant. You’ll work closely with the finance team and other departments, using Odoo to keep our financial data accurate, well-controlled, and organized. Key Responsibilities Record and process daily accounting transactions accurately and on time. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-up with vendors and customers. Complete bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations. Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules. Support month-end and year-end closing and the preparation of financial statements. Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and support Corporate Tax compliance. Keep accounting data in Odoo accurate and properly controlled. Maintain audit records and supporting documents, and assist external auditors. Provide management with reports, reconciliations, and ad hoc financial analysis. Mandatory Requirements Currently based in Dubai Hands-on experience with Odoo At least 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE Working knowledge of UAE VAT Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Advantages Professional certification, part- or fully qualified (CPA, ACCA, or CMA) Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax Good knowledge of IFRS Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) Show more Show less
