Camel Dive Club & Boutique Hotel We’re Hiring: Assistant IT Manager Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt Camel Dive Club & Boutique Hotel (Sharm El Sheikh, since 1986) is looking for an Assistant IT Manager to work directly with our IT Manager and act as deputy in the IT Manager’s absence. 🔧 Key Responsibilities • Ensure the 24/7 availability of Opera Cloud, Simphony POS, and Wi-Fi • Manage Windows servers on a Hyper-V failover cluster • Diagnose and resolve server, operating system, and infrastructure issues • Manage Veeam backups and test restores • Administer Office 365 and Active Directory • Manage the Sophos firewall • Administer QNAP storage • Configure switches and VLANs (Aruba and Grand stream GWN) • Manage Wi-Fi networks, including DHCP • Administer NVRs and IP cameras • Administer the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office telephone system • Support the Vision line door lock system • Support the technical Simphony – Fatorty e-invoicing interface • Monitor guest Wi-Fi (IACBOX and GWN Cloud) • Monitor overall network status • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements • Participate in planning system upgrades • Handle user onboarding and offboarding • Coordinate with vendors • Train staff on systems and IT security awareness • Maintain IT documentation • Maintain the IT asset inventory and the static IP register • Build scripts for monitoring, automation, and reporting • Use AI assistants (Claude and ChatGPT) in daily work, safely 👤 Personal Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent • Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including hotel experience • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical writing skills • Strong customer service orientation and a passion for IT • Fluency in spoken and written English • Flexibility for shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duty • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Sharm El Sheikh • Integrity and discretion with confidential data 💻 Technical Skills • ACT Systems (Opera Cloud, Simphony, Sun, Infor, Fatorty E-Invoice, and Material Control) • Vision line door lock system (ASSA ABLOY) and the HITS HR system • Hyper-V (failover clustering), QNAP, Veeam, and Office 365 • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP (Wi-Fi), static IP addressing, and VLANs • Aruba & Grandstream GWN switches/APs (GWN Cloud) and Sophos firewalls • Alcatel-Lucent telephone systems (OmniPCX Office / OMC) and office equipment • PC, laptop, printer, and Windows 10/11 support • PowerShell and/or Python scripting; Power Automate, SharePoint, and advanced Excel • AI tools, especially Claude and ChatGPT • Cybersecurity knowledge is a plus 🎓 Certifications (preferred) • Microsoft (e.g., MD-102, MS-102), CCNA, CompTIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent 📩 How to Apply Send your CV to: [redacted email] / [redacted email] Subject line: Assistant IT Manager #Hiring #HotelIT #SharmElSheikh #EgyptJobs Show more Show less
