About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Cards Portfolio Growth & Optimization Manager to lead the growth and optimization of credit, debit, and prepaid card portfolios for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of card portfolio analytics, lifecycle management, and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for developing strategies, executing growth initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results. Responsibilities: 1. Portfolio Analytics & Strategy: Analyze portfolio performance by customer segment, card product, and lifecycle stage, including cohort and month-on-book analysis. Identify dormant, under-utilized, and high-potential customer groups to prioritize growth opportunities based on business value, effort, and time to impact. Develop and maintain a portfolio growth roadmap supported by clear business cases. 2. Growth Initiatives & Execution: Design and deliver targeted activation, usage, retention, reactivation, and spend-stimulation programs. Run campaigns, A/B tests, and offer-design initiatives in collaboration with marketing, digital, and operations teams. Optimize card propositions, pricing, and customer experience for target segments. Partner with risk, authorization, and operations teams to improve approval outcomes and reduce transaction friction. 3. Performance Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Track key portfolio metrics through dashboards and monthly performance reviews. Measure campaign conversion, return on investment, and performance against control groups. Present insights, recommendations, and results to senior stakeholders. Develop playbooks and support knowledge transfer to strengthen internal capabilities. Requirements: 8+ years of experience managing credit and/or debit card portfolios at a card issuer, card scheme, or advisory firm. Hands-on experience in card portfolio analytics and delivering measurable growth initiatives. Expertise across the cards lifecycle: acquisition, activation, usage, retention, and reactivation, including credit, debit, and prepaid cards (commercial cards experience is advantageous). Strong capability in segmentation, cohort analysis, test-and-learn methods, and data-driven portfolio management. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and familiarity with CRM and campaign-management platforms. Knowledge of card scheme products and services, loyalty and rewards, digital wallets, and tokenization. Proven ability to manage senior banking stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams. Fluent professional English and ability to work on-site in Doha for the full contract term. Preferred: Experience with GCC banks and familiarity with local regulations.
