Quality & Patient Safety Specialist

Job Summary The Quality & Patient Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programmes, and regulatory compliance across the hospital. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyse clinical quality indicators, patient safety incidents, and departmental performance to identify opportunities for improvement Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programmes, and risk reduction strategies Conduct incident reviews, root cause analyses (RCA), and follow-up on corrective and preventive action plans Coordinate internal audits, quality assessments, and accreditation activities to ensure compliance with CBAHI and other applicable standards Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to develop and monitor quality improvement plans and patient safety initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Quality Management, or a related healthcare discipline 2+ years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, risk management, or a related function Hospital or healthcare quality and patient safety experience is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of CBAHI accreditation standards, patient safety principles, quality Professional certifications such as CPHQ, CPPS, or equivalent are an advantage Show more Show less
