It operates specialized teams dedicated to constructing overhead transmission lines for electrical energy. These teams work on projects approved by the Saudi Electricity Company, covering voltage levels of 380 KV, 230 KV, and 132 KV across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Linemen role based in Saudi Arabia. The Lineman will install, repair, and maintain overhead power lines and related electrical infrastructure for high-voltage transmission projects. Daily responsibilities include climbing poles and structures, stringing and tensioning conductors, assembling and installing hardware, and performing routine inspections to identify and resolve faults. The role involves working with crews to ensure safe operations, following company and regulatory safety procedures, and using specialized tools and equipment for live-line and de-energized work. The Lineman will also assist in project preparation, site setup, and documentation of completed work. Qualifications Strong technical skills in power line construction, maintenance, and repair, especially on high-voltage systems (e.g., 132 KV, 230 KV, 380 KV). Proficiency in using linemen tools and equipment, including climbing gear, lifting devices, and testing instruments. Solid understanding of electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices for elevated and high-voltage environments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, line diagrams, and work instructions relevant to transmission line projects. Physical fitness to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and to lift and carry equipment as required. Relevant vocational training or certification in electrical or power line work; prior experience as a Lineman or in utility/transmission projects is highly preferred. Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with crew members, supervisors, and safety personnel.
