Junior Electrical Engineer

Principal Accountabilities: Assist in preparing S- Line Diagrams (SLDs), general layout drawings, equipment arrangement plans, and related design documentation. Support cable routing, grounding calculations, earthing and lightning protection design, under guidance from senior engineers. Assist in sizing calculations for electrical equipment (cables, transformers, DGs, circuit breakers, etc.). Collaborate with other disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Environmental) to ensure coordinated designs. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA), and internal procedures. Participate in evaluating supplier technical offers and provide input to senior engineers. Assist in problem-solving and technical decision-making within the Electrical discipline. Continuously learn and apply company procedures and industry best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering 0-2 years of working experience, preferably with internship, formal training. or project exposure in electrical design of HV substations.
