Architecture Engineer

ECB – Engineering Consulting Bureau is seeking an experienced Architecture Site Supervision Engineer to join our Site Supervision team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising architectural works on-site, ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor architectural works at project sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards. Inspect ongoing construction activities and ensure proper execution of architectural finishes and works. Review approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to architectural works. Coordinate with the Contractor, Consultant disciplines, and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and technical interfaces. Verify the quality and workmanship of architectural works and identify non-conformities. Review and respond to RFIs, technical queries, and site-related architectural issues. Monitor the progress of architectural activities and report any delays or potential issues to the Project/Site Management team. Ensure that materials and products used on-site comply with approved samples and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and prepare inspection reports and relevant documentation. Review completed works and participate in inspections, snagging, and handover activities. Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, HSE regulations, and applicable codes and standards. Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure proper execution and avoid conflicts. Maintain proper records of site observations, inspections, instructions, and correspondence. Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of site observations and non-conformities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent. 7–10 years of relevant experience in architectural site supervision, preferably within a consulting engineering environment. Previous experience working on construction sites is required. Good knowledge of architectural construction methods, materials, and finishing works. Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. Familiarity with RFIs, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and snagging. Good knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and quality requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team. Consultancy experience is highly preferred. Show more Show less
