Operations Supervisor

Candidzone is urgently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for a project in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in operating and controlling process systems, interpreting P&IDs, managing valve operations, and monitoring process parameters, with a solid understanding of PTW procedures and HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and control daily process operations and equipment. Read and interpret P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams). Perform valve opening, closing, line-up verification, and isolation activities. Monitor and adjust process parameters, including pressure, flow, level, and temperature. Monitor pumps, piping systems, control valves, and field instruments. Identify operational abnormalities and support equipment troubleshooting. Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and construction teams. Support plant start-up and shutdown activities. Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and HSE requirements. Maintain safe and efficient plant operations. Requirements Ability to read and interpret P&IDs. Hands-on experience operating and controlling process systems and equipment. Strong knowledge of valve operations, line-up verification, and isolation procedures. Ability to monitor and adjust pressure, flow, level, and temperature. Familiarity with pumps, piping systems, control valves, and field instruments. Experience coordinating with operations, maintenance, and construction teams.
