Role Description The Barista role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating coffee equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, handling food preparation for light snacks or pastries, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety guidelines. The Barista will interact directly with customers, take orders, process payments, and provide friendly, efficient service that aligns with the project's commitment to an excellent customer experience. The role also involves coordinating with team members, restocking supplies, and supporting overall store operations as needed. Job Description We are looking for skilled and passionate Baristas with solid experience in coffee preparation and a strong understanding of specialty coffee standards. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in preparing high-quality coffee beverages, operating professional coffee equipment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages to high-quality standards. Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment. Perform espresso extraction, grinder calibration, milk steaming, and latte art. Maintain consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and preparation. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the coffee station. Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a welcoming café environment. Job Requirements Proven experience as a Barista in specialty coffee shops or reputable cafés. Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and espresso preparation. Excellent skills in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art. Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines and grinders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
