Systems Administrator

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled System Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of our IT infrastructure, with a particular focus on end-user support and network security. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of network security principles, experience with a range of networking hardware and software, and a proven ability to provide excellent technical support across different operating systems. Responsibilities: ● Network Infrastructure & Security: o Manage and maintain Fortigate firewalls, including security policy implementation, firmware upgrades, and troubleshooting. o Ensure network security through regular monitoring, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments. o Implement and maintain secure VPN connections for remote access. o Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Aruba / HP / Draytek switches and Aruba Wi-Fi access points. o Monitor network performance and optimize network configurations for optimal efficiency. o Implement and maintain network segmentation and VLANs. o Manage and support Zoom Phone Pro & 3CX, including user provisioning, call routing configuration, and troubleshooting. o Ensure the smooth operation of our communication infrastructure. ● Google Workspace & MS365 Administration: o Manage and administer Google Workspace Enterprise & MS 365, including user accounts, email settings, and security policies. o Provide support to users on Google Workspace & MS 365 applications and services. ● End-User Support: o Provide technical support to end-users for Windows, Mac, and Unix operating systems. o Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolve connectivity problems, and assist with user account management. o Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and user devices. o Manage Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and an MDM platform: automated enrollment (ADE), zero-touch device setup, app and policy deployment, OS update control, and remote lock or wipe. Qualifications: ● Bachelor degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ● Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a System Administrator with a strong focus on network security. ● Hands-on experience with Fortigate firewalls, Aruba switches and WiFi access points, and Zoom Phone Pro. ● Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). ● Proficiency in supporting Windows, Mac, and Unix operating systems. ● Experience with Google Workspace Enterprise & MS 365. ● Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ● Valid UAE driving License Show more Show less
