Role Description The Carpenter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Carpenter will perform a variety of woodworking and construction tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for structures such as frames, partitions, and fittings used on project sites. Responsibilities include installing and repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures, performing finish carpentry to meet quality standards, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and safety regulations. The Carpenter will use hand tools and power tools to complete daily tasks, coordinate with site supervisors and other trade professionals, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. The role may also involve occasional adjustments and repairs to site cabins and equipment-related structures as needed. Qualifications Strong carpentry skills, including framing and finish carpentry, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements. Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers, chisels) safely and effectively for carpentry tasks. Experience operating power tools (e.g., drills, circular saws, nail guns) in compliance with safety standards. Knowledge of construction site practices, materials, and basic building codes or standards. Ability to work safely, follow instructions, and maintain high-quality workmanship under time constraints. Previous experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within construction or industrial environments. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in varying site conditions. Basic communication skills in English; additional language skills in regional languages are an advantage. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry is preferred. Show more Show less
