Indoor Air Quality & Environmental Monitoring Specialist (Physicochemical) Dubai, UAE | Full-time | Saniservice / Indoor Sciences We investigate indoor environments scientifically. Our team already includes microbiologists, architects and HVAC specialists. We are adding a physicochemical inspector to own the instrumentation and measurement side of that work. If you've spent the last few years with a PID in one hand and a calibration certificate in the other, this is a role where that work is the product, not a box-ticking exercise. What you'll do Conduct on-site IAQ investigations and environmental sampling across residential, commercial and healthcare settings Operate, calibrate and verify professional field instrumentation, and own the QA/QC behind every number we publish Measure particulates (PM1/2.5/10), CO2, CO, NO2, ozone, TVOC, formaldehyde, temperature, relative humidity and differential pressure Interpret results against ASHRAE, WHO, EPA, WELL and UAE guidelines, and explain what they mean, not just what they are Write clear, defensible technical reports that stand up to a client's consultant Work alongside our microbiology, HVAC and building-science teams on combined investigations What we need Bachelor's in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Occupational Hygiene or a related scientific discipline. A Master's in Occupational Hygiene or Environmental Science is an advantage 3-5 years of hands-on environmental monitoring, IAQ testing, industrial hygiene or field sampling. Field time, not lab-only or desk-based Hands-on use of direct-reading instruments: PID for TVOC, NDIR for CO2, optical particle counters/monitors, electrochemical sensors Real calibration discipline: zero and span checks, bump tests, drift tracking, blanks and duplicates, and logging all of it Strong written English. You will be writing reports clients pay for Confident on site and in front of a client explaining a finding Desirable Active sampling methods: DNPH cartridges for formaldehyde (ISO 16000-3), sorbent tubes for VOCs, gravimetric PM, NIOSH/OSHA methods WELL v2 Performance Verification or RESET experience UAE experience and a UAE driving licence This is a measurement-science role, not a supervision, project-management or maintenance role.
