We Are Hiring | Quantity Surveyor (QS) 📍 Location: Qatar We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costing, commercial activities, cost control, and financial performance across various projects. The successful candidate will ensure accurate cost estimation, effective contract administration, timely invoicing, and proper commercial management throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and detailed quantity take-offs. Review BOQs, technical drawings, specifications, quotations, and contracts. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost competitiveness. Monitor project costs, commitments, margins, and overall profitability. Prepare customer progress claims, payment applications, and monthly invoices. Review and verify supplier and subcontractor claims and invoices. Manage variations, change orders, and additional work valuations. Reconcile ordered, delivered, installed, and invoiced quantities. Coordinate commercial activities with Sales, Procurement, Projects, Finance, and Logistics teams. Maintain accurate project commercial documentation and SAP/ERP records. Prepare project final accounts and support financial close-out. Monitor and control project costing across Water Treatment, ELV, FF&E, and supply-and-installation projects. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Experience in Water Treatment, ELV, FF&E, and MEP or supply-and-installation projects is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, project budgeting, variations, and contract administration. Experience in project cost control, invoicing, claims, and final accounts. Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems. Strong analytical, negotiation, coordination, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet commercial deadlines. Preferred Candidate Profile A commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with strong technical knowledge, hands-on project costing experience, and the ability to protect project margins while ensuring accurate financial and contractual control.
