Accounting Manager Manufacturing | Essential Oils & Specialty Products Cairo - Dokki Business Leaders is hiring an Accounting Manager on behalf of one of its clients, an reputable manufacturer and main exporter of essential oils, aromatic ingredients, and specialty products. The company is implementing Odoo ERP and restructuring its accounting function. We are seeking a hands-on accounting leader to drive this transformation, strengthen financial controls, and improve costing and reporting. Reporting to: CFO & MD Key Responsibilities Lead accounting restructuring, defining clear roles, responsibilities, policies, and procedures. Lead the finance and accounting workstream of Odoo ERP implementation, including requirements, data migration, testing, and team training. Establish a unified Chart of Accounts, effective approval workflows, and strong internal controls. Manage daily accounting operations, reconciliations, fixed assets, and timely period-end closing. Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, budgets, and variance analyses. Develop manufacturing costing systems, including batch costing, inventory valuation, yield analysis, and production cost control. Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory obligations. Lead and develop the accounting team and coordinate with auditors, implementation partners, and operational departments. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 15+ years of relevant experience, including accounting leadership in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in accounting restructuring and ERP implementation. Strong expertise in financial reporting, manufacturing costing, budgeting, and internal controls. Solid knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and taxation. Strong leadership, analytical, and hands-on problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification. Odoo ERP implementation experience. Experience in agriculture, chemicals, cosmetics, or related process-manufacturing industries.
