WTP OPERATOR

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Steel Manufacturing Job Responsibilities: Operate and monitor industrial water treatment plant systems and associated equipment. Monitor water quality parameters, including pH, TDS, total hardness, and conductivity. Operate and monitor pumps, cooling towers, filters, and chemical dosing systems. Perform routine inspections and report equipment faults or abnormal operating conditions. Collect water samples, maintain daily operational logs, and prepare water analysis reports. Monitor flow rates, pressure, temperature, and water levels. Support routine maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Follow HSE policies, operating procedures, and permit-to-work requirements. Requirements: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related technical field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in water treatment or utility operations. Experience in a steel plant or heavy industrial environment is preferred. Knowledge of water treatment chemicals, chemical dosing, and water quality monitoring. Experience with RO systems or industrial water treatment plants is an advantage. Willingness to work in shifts Show more Show less
