Role Description The Legal Officer at Monfi Digital Bank will provide day-to-day legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Dubai and relevant international jurisdictions. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents, including customer agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership arrangements. The Legal Officer will advise on business law matters, digital banking regulations, and risk mitigation, while supporting product development, corporate governance, and internal policy frameworks. The role also includes coordinating with external legal counsel as needed, maintaining accurate legal records, monitoring regulatory changes affecting digital banking and digital assets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement compliant and practical solutions. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Law and Business Law, with experience applying legal principles in a financial services or digital banking environment. Candidates should possess expertise in Contract Law and Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements. Candidates should possess skills in Legal Consulting, providing clear, practical legal advice to stakeholders and supporting strategic business decisions. Relevant qualifications such as a law degree (LLB or equivalent), admission to practice in a recognized jurisdiction, and experience in banking, fintech, or financial regulation are highly beneficial.
