Role Description The Facilities Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for overseeing daily facilities operations across the group’s premises. This role coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment and building systems, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with company standards and local regulations. The Facilities Supervisor schedules and supervises facility staff and contractors, monitors service quality, and manages work orders, inspections, and maintenance records. The role also involves monitoring utility usage, supporting cost-effective facility initiatives, responding to facility-related incidents, and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to address operational needs. The Facilities Supervisor collaborates with management to propose improvements, support facility-related projects, and maintain a clean, efficient, and secure working environment. Qualifications Strong facility management and facilities operations skills, including experience in overseeing building systems and services. Proficiency in equipment maintenance practices, including preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical and soft services. Demonstrated supervisory skills, with experience leading teams, coordinating contractors, and managing workloads and schedules. Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly with cross-functional teams, vendors, and service providers. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to facility operations. Experience using facility management software or maintenance management systems is an advantage. Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
