Project Manager – FTTH / Fiber Infrastructure

Job Duties Lead the end-to-end delivery of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) projects, ensuring completion within scope, timeline, and budget. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of fiber network deployment including site surveys, design, civil works, fiber laying, splicing, testing, and service activation. Establish and enforce project management standards, processes, and best practices across project teams. Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, operations, procurement, finance) to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational objectives. Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to project schedules. Monitor project performance and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project progress. Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to telecom infrastructure projects. Prepare and deliver project reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for senior management and key stakeholders. Optimize resource allocation and utilization to ensure efficient project execution. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for FTTH rollout projects. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead cross-functional teams and maintain strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Vendor & Contractor Management Supervise contractors and field teams responsible for fiber installation, civil works, and network deployment. Risk & Issue Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruption. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure adherence to telecom standards, fiber deployment specifications, and safety regulations. Budget & Resource Management Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure optimal utilization of resources. Reporting & Documentation Provide regular progress reports, maintain project documentation, and present updates to senior leadership. Key Requirements & Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly preferred. Experience Minimum 3 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in FTTH or telecom infrastructure projects. Proven track record in managing large-scale fiber rollout or broadband network deployment projects. Strong knowledge of FTTH technologies, including GPON, fiber splicing, optical distribution networks (ODN), and fiber infrastructure components. Experience in coordinating multiple contractors and field deployment teams. Solid understanding of the end-to-end FTTH deployment lifecycle (survey, design, civil works, installation, testing, and commissioning).
