Product Designer (UX/UI) — SaaS Platform

Design the product experience behind the creative work. POPCORN Studio is building a SaaS platform for advertising and video creation. We are looking for a Product Designer who can turn complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences—from a user’s first session to their everyday work. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Dubai Media City office. You will own the design process from understanding the problem through research, user flows, prototyping, interface design and implementation review. Working closely with our Senior Product Manager and engineers, you will shape how the platform works and help us ship a consistent, usable product. WHAT YOU WILL OWN • Design complete SaaS workflows, including onboarding, project creation, asset management, editing, subscriptions and account settings. • Translate product requirements and customer needs into user journeys, wireframes and interactive prototypes. • Design polished interfaces with clear hierarchy, consistent interactions and thoughtful attention to detail. • Define loading, empty, error, processing and success states—not just the ideal path. • Build and maintain a practical design system with reusable components and documented behaviour. • Create responsive experiences across desktop and mobile, supporting English and Arabic layouts. • Work directly with engineers throughout implementation, clarify interactions and review the finished experience. • Test designs with users, incorporate feedback and improve workflows after launch. • Balance usability, business priorities and engineering constraints. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • A portfolio demonstrating shipped SaaS or web application products, with clear examples of your personal contribution. • Strong UX thinking: you can explain the problem, the alternatives you considered and why your solution works. • Strong UI craft across typography, layout, visual hierarchy and interaction states. • Advanced Figma skills, including components, Auto Layout, prototyping and design systems. • Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers from discovery through release. • Understanding of accessibility, responsive design and implementation constraints. • Clear communication, ownership and the ability to move from an incomplete brief to a well-reasoned solution. • Availability to work full-time from our Dubai Media City office. EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD HELP • Creative software, video editors, media tools or other products with complex workflows. • Subscription products, onboarding, checkout and user activation. • Arabic interfaces and right-to-left design. • Usability testing and using product data to guide improvements. • Basic frontend knowledge that helps you collaborate with engineers.
