Business Development Manager

We're hiring: Business Development Manager Monerti · Manama, Bahrain · Full time, on site · Sunday to Thursday About the role We're looking for a Business Development Manager to own our growth on the ground. This is a senior, hands on role that combines selling, leading and building. You will bring in new clients, run a small sales and customer team, close partnerships, and take full ownership of the numbers. You will report directly to the founder and work closely with product, marketing and operations, so the market feedback you bring back shapes what we do next. This is not a desk role and it is not a pure management role. The right person picks up the phone, walks into meetings, closes deals personally, and holds the team to the same standard. What you will do Sales and client acquisition • Build and manage a pipeline of landlords, property owners, real estate developers and property management companies • Run the full sales cycle yourself: prospecting, meetings, presentations, proposals, negotiation and signed contract • Follow up every lead quickly and consistently until it closes or is clearly lost • Turn inbound interest into meetings, and meetings into revenue Team leadership • Lead the sales and customer team day to day, setting daily and weekly activity targets • Coach the team on calls, messaging, objection handling and closing • Run weekly pipeline reviews and one to one sessions, and act quickly on underperformance • Make sure every customer is handled professionally from first contact onwards Partnerships • Identify, negotiate and sign commercial partnerships that add value for our customers • Source and onboard service vendors, agree terms and pricing, and keep backup options in place • Own partner relationships commercially and review their performance regularly Pipeline, reporting and process • Keep every lead, call, meeting and deal recorded in the CRM, same day • Report pipeline, conversion and revenue to management every week, with clear forecasts • Bring client feedback and objections back to the Product Owner, so what we build matches what clients pay for • Prepare proposals, pricing sheets and contracts, and work with finance on commercial terms What you need • B2B and B2C sales or business development in Bahrain, including at least 2 years leading a sales team • A proven closing record. Be ready to show your targets, your results and the deals you closed • Experience in real estate, property management or a related B2B sector, selling to owners and companies • An active network of landlords, property owners and real estate professionals in Bahrain • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the confidence to deal with owners and senior decision makers • Fluent Arabic and English, spoken and written, including professional proposals and emails in both • Comfortable working to daily activity targets, selling by phone and WhatsApp, and living in a CRM • Organised and data driven, comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets for pipeline tracking and reporting • A valid Bahrain driving licence and willingness to meet clients across the Kingdom Nice to have • Working knowledge of RERA regulations and licensing in Bahrain • Experience in a startup or fast growing company • Experience building a sales process or team from an early stage Who you are You are a closer who also likes to build.
