Data Migration We are seeking an ETL & Data Engineer to build, run and maintain the data pipelines, platforms and datasets that underpin a large-scale digital transformation program. The role combines hands-on ETL analysis with data engineering. It covers four areas: data migration, ETL and data integration, data platform engineering, and data analytics & BI enablement. The ETL Analyst & Data Engineer will work closely with the ETL Lead, reporting teams, functional teams and implementation partners. Together they will ensure accurate, secure and efficient movement of data across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce Automotive Cloud, Proaxia VSS and other integrated platforms. The role is central to data quality, reconciliation and consistency across systems, during implementation and through post-go-live operations. Key Responsibilities 1. ETL & Data Integration Design, develop and run ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration Extract data from SAP ERP, Salesforce, operational support systems and external sources Transform, cleanse and enrich data for target systems and reporting platforms Map source data structures to target data models and maintain mapping specifications Build batch and near-real-time integrations using APIs, files and database connectors Schedule, orchestrate and monitor pipeline jobs, handling failures and reruns Tune pipeline and SQL performance for volume and load windows 2. Data Migration Plan and execute migration of master and transactional data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce and Proaxia Build repeatable migration scripts and load programs for mock loads, dress rehearsals and cutover Run pre-load and post-load validation and reconciliation (record counts, financial balances, key fields) Manage data cleansing and de-duplication with business data owners Support SIT, UAT and cutover activities, including defect triage and resolution Maintain migration trackers, load logs and sign-off evidence 3. Data Platform Engineering Build and maintain the enterprise data platform (data warehouse, data lake or lakehouse) and its staging, integration and presentation layers Design data models (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas) for analytics and reporting Implement data pipeline frameworks, reusable components and engineering standards Apply version control, CI/CD and automated testing to data pipelines Implement role-based access, data masking and encryption in line with security and privacy policies Monitor platform health, capacity, cost and performance Support integration of cloud data services (e.g. Azure, SAP BTP / Datasphere) 4. Data Analytics & BI Enablement Prepare curated, business-ready datasets and semantic models for reporting Partner with reporting teams building dashboards in Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud and other enterprise tools Develop KPIs, measures and data marts for sales, after-sales, finance and operations Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer business questions and validate reports Ensure pipelines deliver timely, reliable data for operational and management reporting 5. Data Quality & Governance Define and run data quality checks for accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across systems Reconcile data between legacy systems and new platforms Maintain data lineage, data dictionaries and metadata Apply enterprise data governance, master data and data protection standards 6. Documentation & Process Support Document ETL processes, data mappings, transformation logic and platform designs Maintain migration, integration and runbook documentation Support the ETL Lead in setting data engineering and transformation standards Provide hypercare and knowledge transfer to support teams after go-live 7. Program Scope The role supports data migration, integration, platform and reporting work across: SAP S/4HANA ERP Salesforce Automotive Cloud Proaxia Vehicle Sales & Service (VSS) Document management systems such as Doxis Digital signature platforms such as DocuSign Payment gateways and external transaction systems Enterprise data platform (data warehouse / lakehouse) Reporting and analytics platforms (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud) 8.
