DESIGN ENGINEER – FAÇADE (ALUMINIUM & GLASS)

WE ARE HIRING | DESIGN ENGINEER – FAÇADE (ALUMINIUM & GLASS) Location: UAE Experience: 3–6 Years Job Responsibilities: Develop façade designs and shop drawings for curtain walls, glazing, cladding, aluminium windows, doors, and louvre systems. Prepare fabrication drawings, installation drawings, sections, and assembly details. Generate aluminium profile cutting lists, glass schedules, and hardware schedules. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and contractors. Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, Civil Defence requirements, and project specifications. Address technical queries, structural requirements, thermal performance, and water/air-tightness standards. Provide technical support to production and installation teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering. 3–6 years of experience in Aluminium & Glass Façade Design, preferably in the UAE. Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit or Rhino knowledge will be an advantage. Good understanding of aluminium façade systems, glass types, structural silicone glazing, and thermal break systems. Ability to interpret basic façade structural calculations. Experience in shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical detailing. Show more Show less
