Position: Equation CBS Developer Role Purpose Responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of the Finastra Equation Core Banking System (CBS) to support business needs and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and troubleshoot applications and APIs within Equation CBS. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement customizations, integrations, and system enhancements. Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and end users to gather requirements. Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to development best practices. Perform system testing, debugging, and documentation. Support system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities. Provide technical support and resolve Equation CBS-related issues. Maintain accurate records of development changes and activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in developing and maintaining Finastra Equation CBS. Strong proficiency in COBOL, RPG, CLP, or other relevant programming languages used within Equation CBS. Good understanding of banking processes and core banking systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with integration projects and interfacing Equation CBS with other banking applications. Knowledge of Finastra Equation architecture, modules, and development tools. Understanding of banking IT security, regulatory compliance, and governance requirements. Ideal Candidate Profile Candidates with hands-on experience in Equation Core Banking System development, banking domain expertise, and strong technical skills in COBOL/RPG environments will be highly preferred.
