Electrical Construction Manager - Giza

Role Purpose The Electrical Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring timely execution, cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership to manage teams, subcontractors, and coordination with other disciplines. Key Accountabilities Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of all electrical construction works across the project lifecycle. Review electrical designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals, ensuring constructability and compliance with project specifications. Develop and manage project schedules, material procurement plans, and manpower allocation for electrical works. Lead and coordinate with site engineers, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure quality and progress of work. Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power, fire alarm, ELV, BMS, etc.). Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other trades to prevent conflicts and ensure seamless project delivery. Enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations and ensure all activities are performed in a safe manner. Attend progress, coordination, and technical meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors. Manage inspections, approvals, and handover procedures related to electrical systems. Control project costs related to electrical works and ensure alignment with budgets. Prepare and review reports including progress updates, resource planning, risk assessments, and project documentation. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical work. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design interpretation, construction practices, and codes (e.g., NEC, IEC). Proven experience in managing large project teams and subcontractors. Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project is a plus). PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage. Show more Show less
