IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to keep our technology environment secure, stable and highly available. We are a financial institution regulated by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). The role owns servers, networks and virtualization across all branches, working closely with Information Security to ensure regulatory compliance. This position is open to Saudi nationals only. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Systems Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtual environments (VMware / Hyper-V) Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and other core infrastructure services Support Microsoft 365 and Azure hybrid environments Network & Security Manage LAN/WAN, switches, routers and VLAN segmentation Administer firewalls (FortiGate), access controls and infrastructure hardening Coordinate with Information Security to remediate vulnerabilities and close regulatory observations Resilience & Compliance Oversee backup systems and disaster recovery (DR) plans Implement patch management in line with SAMA and internal compliance requirements Support technology audits and IT governance controls Operations Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements to reliability and efficiency Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues Coordinate with vendors and service providers Maintain documentation, standards and operational best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure Hands-on experience with Windows Server & Active Directory, VMware or Hyper-V, FortiGate, Microsoft 365 & Azure, and LAN/WAN/VLANs Solid understanding of backup, disaster recovery and business continuity Familiarity with regulatory compliance and IT governance frameworks; experience in a SAMA-regulated environment is an advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Certifications CCNA Microsoft certifications VMware Certified Professional (VCP) ITIL Foundation Fortinet certifications How to Apply Please send your CV to [redacted email] with IT Infrastructure Engineer in the email subject line.
