Injection Molding Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing company specializing in plastic injection molding. Salary : 1600 USD per month / 6000 SAR per month plus bonuses The ideal candidate should have: 2–5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining plastic injection molding machines Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLC-related alarms, motors, sensors and control systems Practical knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems Experience in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and machine repairs Technical education in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Experience with HMD or TYD injection molding machines would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair faults in injection molding machines, including injection and clamping units, hydraulic pumps, valves and related components. Troubleshoot electrical control panels, PLC-related alarms, motors, heaters, thermocouples, sensors, relays and contactors. Read electrical diagrams; use test instruments safely to identify root causes rather than replace parts by trial and error. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, maintain checklists and propose corrective measures for recurring failures. Respond to production breakdowns, coordinate repairs with shift supervisors and record machine downtime and completed work. Assist with machine installation, commissioning and maintenance of auxiliary equipment. Identify critical spare parts and report maintenance needs and equipment risks. Follow electrical isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures; escalate work beyond competency to qualified specialists. Interested in this opportunity?
