Network Infrastructure Manager

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Manager – Network Infrastructure to lead the design, delivery, and continuous evolution of large-scale, secure, and highly available network environments supporting critical ICT operations. This role requires strong strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and proven experience managing complex, multi-site enterprise network infrastructures. Key Responsibilities Define and implement enterprise network architecture strategies aligned with business goals Design high-level network frameworks, standards, and governance models Lead large-scale network infrastructure projects across multi-site and distributed environments Ensure delivery within scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards Manage SLAs, vendor contracts, and service providers to ensure optimal performance and reliability Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and optimization of network infrastructure Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and ensure network resilience and availability Evaluate emerging technologies (cloud, SD-WAN, virtualization) for business value and scalability Oversee risk management, capacity planning, and performance optimization Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing, multi-disciplinary technical teams Communicate project updates, risks, and strategic insights to senior stakeholders Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 15+ years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure environments Strong experience managing large-scale, multi-site, and distributed network infrastructures Proven leadership experience in complex, mission-critical environments Experience in vendor management, procurement, RFPs, and SLA negotiations Strong understanding of multi-tenancy, shared infrastructure, and enterprise service environments Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills CCIE (SP, R&S, Wireless, or Data Center) – Highly preferred PMP or equivalent certification – Preferred Technical Skills Advanced routing and switching (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP) MPLS technologies (L2/L3 VPN, VPLS, MPLS-TE, FRR) Network virtualization and SDN (ACI, NSX, SD-WAN, SD-Access) VPN technologies (IPSec, DMVPN, GRE, GETVPN) Enterprise wireless networking (802.11 standards, controllers, RF management) Strong knowledge of network monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity planning Experience with disaster recovery, resilience planning, and network security best practices Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments Show more Show less
