VAT & ZAKAT & Payment Senior Specialist

JOB PURPOSE: To ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and tax filings while maintaining compliance with company policies and ZATCA regulations. The role focuses on supporting daily operations, reconciling accounts, and providing timely and accurate data for reporting and audits. Key Accountabilities 1.Invoice Processing: Verify and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies. Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper documentation for entry into Oracle. 2.Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments (checks, transfers, wire transfers) accurately and on time. Maintain organized records and documentation for all payments. 3.Reconciliation and Month-End Closing: Perform regular account reconciliations for AP transactions and general ledger accounts. Support month-end closing by preparing accruals and generating AP-related financial reports. 4.Compliance and Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing VAT and Withholding Tax returns for ZATCA submission. Ensure compliance with tax laws in daily AP transactions. 5.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with procurement and vendors to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies. Provide accurate and timely responses to vendor and audit inquiries. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant major. EXPERIENCE Senior Specialist 2-3 years in relevant fields. SKILLS Proficiency in ERP systems like Oracle for invoice and payment processing. Basic knowledge of VAT and Withholding Tax compliance. strong hands - on experience in payment processing, accounts payable, reconciliations Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
