Sales Engineer

Role Purpose To manage and expand customer base in order to promote sustained sales growth to achieve company sales objectives. Job Accountabilities & Activities Calling on assigned accounts to sell repair products and services within a specified territory Calling on prospective clients to grow market share within the assigned territory Focusing on personal sales target and business development Working closely with the Service Center Sales Manager and other Sales Engineers within the Service Centre to ensure proper shop loading throughout the year Building relationship with various individuals within a customer’s site. These may include rotating equipment engineers, maintenance manager or supervisor, purchasing agent or manager and site management Troubleshooting of customer problems. Focusing on “bad actors” to solve performance problems, improving energy and operating costs, as well as overall equipment reliability Understanding and keeping up to date on customer’s processes Staying up to date on product capabilities and enhancement for AMCO products as well as related competitor products. Preparation of presentation and proposals to obtain new orders including proper review of customer specifications and commercial requirements Coordinating and resolving customer service issues in a manner that retains the customer and provides opportunity to additional revenue in the future Assistance as needed in collecting accounts receivable on past due accounts Traveling as needed to call on customers Management of personal travel and entertainment budget Completes call, sales and expense report on a timely basis Acts appropriately in front of customers to represent the company in a positive manner Education & Certifications Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification Required Years Of Experience 2+ years Show more Show less
