NOC Engineer /Authority Engineer / Permitting Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Authority / NOC Engineer with a strong civil engineering background and a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience within a main contracting company. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in managing government approvals, building permits, NOCs, and authority coordination for building construction and high-rise tower projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with relevant government authorities, utility providers, consultants, and other stakeholders to secure the necessary approvals and permits and ensure projects comply with applicable regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all authority approvals, building permits, NOCs, and related documentation for construction projects. Liaise with government authorities, utility providers, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals. Handle applications, submissions, follow-ups, and approvals through relevant government portals and authority platforms. Coordinate with Abu Dhabi Municipality and other relevant authorities for building permits and construction-related approvals. Prepare, review, and submit technical documents, drawings, applications, and supporting documents for authority approvals. Monitor the status of submitted applications and ensure timely follow-up to avoid project delays. Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to ensure compliance with authority requirements. Manage the approval process throughout different project stages, including commencement, construction, inspections, and final handover. Maintain proper records of all authority submissions, approvals, NOCs, permits, and correspondence. Identify authority-related issues and coordinate with the concerned teams to resolve them efficiently. Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained in accordance with project schedules and applicable regulations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering. Minimum 5 years of UAE experience with a main contracting company, particularly in building and high-rise construction projects. Strong knowledge of government approval procedures, building permits, NOCs, and authority coordination. Practical experience dealing with relevant government platforms and authorities, including: TAMM Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) TAQA BONIA Abu Dhabi Civil Defence MEPS MoEI ADNOC Approvals System TRANSCO ADDC AADC Strong civil engineering background with demonstrated experience in securing permits and approvals for high-rise building projects.
