Senior Sales Engineer (HVAC Solutions) Location: Abu Dhabi- UAE Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth and expand market presence across the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and end clients while identifying project opportunities, generating new business, and achieving sales targets. This role is ideal for a sales professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent commercial acumen, and a proven track record in specification sales and project-based selling within the HVAC solutions (VRF/DX/Chiller/Packaged Units). The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on major construction and infrastructure projects while contributing directly to the company's growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Achieve and exceed assigned annual sales targets and profitability objectives. Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the designated territory. Develop strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, project owners, and key decision-makers. Create and execute territory sales plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth. Generate business from project inquiries, tenders, and direct customer engagements. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting. Project Tracking & Specification Sales Monitor upcoming construction projects and identify opportunities at early stages. Follow up on project specifications, tender activities, and consultant approvals. Engage with MEP consultants and contractors to ensure product specifications and approvals. Coordinate technical submissions and support the bid management process. Client Relationship Management Develop long-term partnerships with existing and prospective customers. Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and project reviews. Address customer concerns promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal departments to deliver exceptional customer service. Technical Sales Support Perform equipment selections using manual calculations and computer-based selection software. Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements. Deliver product presentations and conduct technical discussions with stakeholders. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Commercial Management Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities. Monitor project progress and ensure timely order conversion. Follow up on customer payments and coordinate receivable collections. Support contract execution and ensure compliance with agreed terms. Reporting & Compliance Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports. Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reports. Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to management. Support company marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 4 years of sales experience in HVAC solutions (VRF/DX/Chiller/Packaged Units) Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning project business. Strong understanding of construction project sales cycles within the UAE market. Experience working with consultants, contractors, developers, and project owners. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineering specifications and drawings. UAE Driving License is mandatory. Show more Show less
