Job description: Job Purpose Coordinate logistics activities for project sites to ensure materials, equipment, and required items are delivered on time and in line with site priorities. Maintain effective coordination with relevant internal and external parties to support smooth project execution. Functional Responsibilities 1. Site Logistics Coordination Coordinate site material and equipment requirements based on project schedules and priorities. Follow up material readiness, dispatch, transportation, and delivery to project sites. Communicate delivery status, delays, and changes to relevant stakeholders. Coordinate urgent or priority logistics requirements when needed. Support alignment between site needs and available logistics resources. 2. Material Delivery & Follow-Up Track materials and equipment from dispatch until receipt at site. Ensure deliveries are directed to the correct site and location. Follow up incomplete, delayed, damaged, or incorrect deliveries. Coordinate replacement, return, or additional delivery requirements when required. Confirm receipt of materials with relevant site representatives. 3. Documentation & Material Control Review delivery notes, packing lists, material lists, and related logistics documents. Maintain records of dispatched, delivered, pending, and returned materials. Ensure required delivery documentation is complete and properly maintained. Support reconciliation of site material requirements against delivered quantities. Maintain updated logistics and delivery tracking records. 4. Coordination & Support Coordinate with relevant internal teams and external service providers regarding logistics requirements. Follow up material shortages or availability issues affecting site activities. Communicate site constraints, access requirements, and delivery priorities to relevant parties. Support resolution of logistics issues affecting material movement and delivery. 5. Reporting & Follow-Up Maintain updated status of site deliveries and pending logistics requirements. Prepare regular logistics reports and delivery updates. Report delays, shortages, damages, and other logistics issues. Follow up open logistics actions until completion. Ensure effective communication with peers and managers, and show openness to directions and feedback. Delivery: Execute the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Use resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Problem-Solving: Solve any related issues arise and escalate any complex operational problems. Quality: Follow quality requirements and specifications for products or processes or related activities.
