Quality and Accreditation Specialist

UPM is looking for Saudi of the highest caliber to fill vacancy of Quality and Accreditation Specialist: Functional Description The Quality and Accreditation Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the university's programs, processes, and services meet internal and external quality standards. This role involves leading and coordinating accreditation processes, quality assurance initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. The specialist will collaborate with academic and administrative departments to implement best practices, maintain compliance with accreditation bodies, and enhance institutional effectiveness. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Accreditation Management: Lead and coordinate accreditation efforts for both national and international accrediting bodies Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation required for accreditation processes. Collaborate with university departments to gather and analyze data for accreditation reports. Ensure continuous compliance with accreditation standards and criteria. Quality Assurance Develop the systems, procedures and models of quality auditing; participate in developing periodic and annual audit plans; and implement the quality control and audit processes in an integrated and accurate manner. Prepare and develop a questionnaire to measure the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of provided services, processes and procedures; and document and analyze their recommendations for improvement in this area. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the quality of academic programs and administrative processes. Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development, review, and feedback process for all university policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they meet quality and accreditation standards. Data Analysis and Reporting Prepare the specialized documents and reports related to the specifications and standards; provide the appropriate recommendations and solutions; and display, clarify, and maintain them on the corresponding database, as per the approved policies and procedures. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and accrediting bodies. Maintain accurate records of accreditation processes, assessments, and quality assurance activities. Training and Capacity Building Provide training and guidance to faculty and staff on accreditation standards, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement methodologies. Facilitate workshops and seminars to promote quality culture across the university Continuous Improvement Identify and initiate continuous improvement activities within academic and operational area. Monitor the implementation of quality improvement plans and track their effectiveness. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with academic departments, administrative units, and external accrediting bodies to ensure alignment with quality standards Serve as the point of contact for accreditation inquiries and communications. Required Education, Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in quality management, quality engineering, business management, law, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, accreditation, or a related field within an educational setting. Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and precise reports, documentation, and correspondence. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management systems. knowledge of accreditation standards and quality assurance frameworks.
