Senior Accountant

KGDR Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant based in Egypt to manage accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for our Saudi Arabian operations. We are looking for someone with direct, hands-on experience in Saudi Arabian accounting practices, government platforms, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage Saudi VAT, Zakat, and corporate income tax requirements, as applicable. Handle ZATCA compliance, including electronic invoicing (Fatoora) and tax filings. Work directly with Saudi government platforms, including ZATCA, Mudad, GOSI, Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business, and other relevant systems. Coordinate payroll, employee benefits, and end-of-service calculations in accordance with Saudi labor laws. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax advisers, and relevant Saudi authorities. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance with all applicable requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including substantial experience with Saudi Arabian accounting operations. Proven hands-on experience with Saudi government and financial platforms. Strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations, VAT, Zakat, payroll, and labor laws. Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Odoo, SAP, or Oracle. Advanced Excel skills and strong financial reporting capabilities. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English. Ability to independently manage Saudi accounting operations while based in Egypt. Previous employment in Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred. Experience in engineering, consulting, construction, or professional services is an advantage. Important Hiring Requirement: We are specifically seeking candidates with practical, hands-on experience managing Saudi Arabian accounting and regulatory requirements. Theoretical knowledge of Saudi laws or general accounting experience alone is not sufficient.
