About Us Desert Ore Mining Company is a company operating in the field of mining and mineral exploration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company is part of an investment partnership in the Saudi mining sector between Gold and Minerals Company (GMCO) and Hancock Prospecting, an Australian mining and exploration company. This partnership brings together local expertise in exploration and mining activities with international experience in the development of mining projects. Desert Ore’s activities focus on mineral exploration, resource evaluation, and the development of mining projects, utilizing technical expertise and modern technologies in geological exploration and mineral resource assessment. These activities are aligned with the ongoing development of Saudi Arabia’s mining sector under the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to increase local and international investment in the Kingdom’s mineral resources. Purpose and Objective Responsible for planning, coordinating, and undertaking geological field exploration activities to identify and evaluate mineralization targets, while ensuring the collection of accurate, consistent, and high-quality geological data in accordance with exploration, health and safety, quality assurance, and quality control standards. Key Responsibilities Responsible for undertaking field exploration activities, including but not limited to: Assisting with the execution of drilling programs, surface geological mapping, core and RC chip logging, and interpretation of geological information. Producing, collecting, and maintaining consistent, accurate, and high-quality geological data from surface mapping, drillhole logging, sampling, and other field exploration activities. Assigning and coordinating tasks for field and logistics personnel to support efficient exploration activities. Assisting in the identification and evaluation of areas of geological interest for further exploration. Ensuring that health and safety, quality control and quality assurance, data management, and reporting systems are implemented and maintained correctly. Qualifications And Experience Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Geology or a relevant field, with a valid driving license. Skills and Experience Fluent in English, with 2-5 years of strong field experience Personal Attributes High level of physical fitness, interest in outdoor activities and field-based work, and strong digital and computer literacy.
